Injera (Tibsi)

From wintana’s mother

  • 1 red onion diced - sauté in oil for 30 minutes
  • Add 4 tablespoons special Eritrean butter
  • Add 1 tomato diced
  • Add 4-5 cloves of garlic - smashed whole
  • Add 1.5 lbs top sirloin cubed
  • Add 2 tablespoons Awayze (paste form of berbere)
  • Cook for additional 15 mintues
  • Add salt and pepper
  • Add water as needed
